Capitol Lighting Looks to Brighten Area Job Market

Company positioning to capitalize on improving real estate market.

Looking for signs of an improving economy? If so, then look no further than plans being laid by New Jersey-based Capitol Lighting, which is seeking an unlimited number of sales people for retail and its expanding online sales.   The 88-year old company sees a potential for growth as the real estate market and economy improve, and company President Eric Lebersfeld notes this is the time to be ready for any upswing. "We need the right people on the bus to help us grow—and it's not necessarily a finite number," he said. Lebersfeld said Capitol Lighting has pulled back as the real estate market declined in 2007-2009, which is causing some surprising possibilities now.
