The second-grade Brownie Girl Scout Troop at Bayberry School in Watchung is planting herbs and making an herb garden at the Watchung Library. The Scouts are working on a project organized by Troop Leaders Cara Salas and Marilyn Cubano, who planned it as an Earth Day event with help from Anne DeParto, youth leader for the Watchung Garden Club. I want to thank Bob Lund for this great sign he made for Green Brook's dog park. "Central Bark" is up and running and has become a favorite spot for residents and their four legged friends!
