The Watchung Hills 14U baseball team won the New Providence Green League championship, Friday night.
The team finished the season with an 11-3 record, under coaches Ming Yang, Al Lampert and John Draikiwicz.
Players on the team include Adam Hom, Mike Snyder, Frankie Yarussi, Wilson Bojangle, James Schelhorn, Chris Draikiwicz, Adam Korb, Alex Yang, Connell Rae, Arjun Mahal, Matt Lampert, Tyler Schaller, Chris Galante and Dylan Murphy.
Other local teams winning championships in the PAL-sanctioned New Providence Green League include 11-year-old bracket winners Green Brook Bullets, who claimed the 11U Upper Division championship, and the Warren Wolverines, who won the Middle A championship.
