Central Jersey Panthers Win USABL Championship at Home

Team of Watchung, Green Brook players cap perfect season with title win at Watchung field.

The U.S. Amateur Baseball League 9U Central Jersey Panthers, comprised of players from Watchung and Green Brook, beat the Howell Landsharks Blue 10-4 Monday, to win the division championship at OST Field in Watchung.

Coach Curt Dahl also reported the team finished the season with an unblemished 11-0 record, giving up a total of just 13 runs over the season.

The team really caught fire over the weekend at the league's Summer Sizzler Tournament, in Pemberton, where the team notched a perfect 4-0 outing. 

The team members are: (from Green Brook) Jake Memoli, Jayden Hylton, Ethan Paritz, Lorenzo Meola, (from Harding) Marco Masselli, (from Watchung) Matthew Dahl, Jake Zaikov, Tommy Casale, Thomas Barca, (from Long Hill) Conner Dreyer,
(from Green Brook) Jake Memoli, Jayden Hylton, Ethan Paritz and Lorenzo Meola.

Team coaches this season were Curt Dahl, Craig Zaikov, Ken Casale and Brad Elicker.
