Weather Delays School Openings in Watchung Hills, Warren, Green Brook

Icy roads delay local school openings.

Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren Township has called a two-hour delayed opening with classes to start at 9:30 a.m. due to inclement weather and poor road conditions, the website says.

Warren Township schools also have scheduled a delayed opening.

The school website says that Monday's opening times will be 10:10 a.m. at the A.L. Tomaso school, and 10:40 a.m. at the Warren Middle School and Central, Mount Horeb and Woodland schools.

Green Brook Township public schools also called a delayed opening, and advised students should be at their bus stops two hours after their regularly scheduled time.

There was no notice on the Watchung Borough Schools website as of 6:30 a.m.
