Watchung Hills School Board Meeting, 8th Grade Orientation Postponed

Tuesday night's parent orientation also postponed until later in week.

Tuesday night's scheduled Watchung Hills High School Board of Education meeting has been called off due to the snow. The next meeting of the board now is scheduled for 4 p.m., according to the board office and school website.

The parent orientation for eighth grade students entering the high school next year also has been postponed until 7 p.m. on Thursday night, according to the school's website.

Because of the continuing snow, the regional high school had dismissed students at noon on Tuesday.

At this point, it appears that Tuesday night's agenda will be carried until the Feb. 4 school board meeting, said Dot Braun, executive assistant to the superintendent.
