Immaculata Recognizes Green Brook Student's Photography

School's literary magazine honors photography by Green Brook's Nicci Pizzigoni.

Junior Nicci Pizzigoni, of Green Brook, won in the category of best photography submitted for Images, Immaculata’s literary magazine. The magazine's staff recently announced the students who were honored for submitting original artwork, poetry, photography and writing.

“The 50th Anniversary edition‘s theme this year is ‘Lata Grace,’ which allows students to recall the wonderful blessings that involves our time here at Immaculata," Images co-editor Anne Marie Barrett ‘13, of Branchburg, said. "The staff and I are excited to publish our school’s talented artists, photographers, writers and poets.”

 Junior Kieran Claus of Hillsborough will have his art featured on the magazine’s cover. Senior Brian Osmond of Hillsborough won in writing, while sophomore Christine Papalski of Bridgewater earned the top prize in poetry. Sophomore Stephanie Duran of Somerville submitted the best art.

Honorable mentions for this year’s competition were Abigail Dolan ’13 of Hillsborough for her original poetry, and Julia Bower ’14 of Hillsborough for her original photography.
