Green Brook Township Committee Can't Make Quorum
Monday's meeting cancelled when only two members available.
The Green Brook Township Committee was forced to cancel Monday's meeting, rescheduled it for July 30.
“Everybody is on vacation or work-related trips and we don’t have quorum,” said Committeeman Ken Herrmann, the only committee member to arrive at town hall. “We need at least three and only had two available. I only found out yesterday.”
The committee was originally going to open the meeting and explain that they didn’t have enough members to hold the meeting, but Township Attorney Bill Willard said that they actually couldn’t even do that without enough members.

Township Administrator Kelly Cupit said she sent out an announcement to the Courier-News on Friday but added she was told it couldn’t publish it until Tuesday, due to the newspaper's publishing deadlines.
With this meeting rescheduled, the July 30th should be a full meeting.

“The 30th discussion will be on police consolidation, budget and the courtroom will be dedicated to recently retired Judge Raymond DeMarco,” said Herrmann.
