Lakeside Rendezvous Interrupted by Police
Watchung police find couple engaged in 'sexual activity' at Best Lake.
A couple enjoying a rendezvous in a car at Best Lake at 11:40 p.m. June 23 were interrupted by police investigating the "suspicious vehicle."
While the sexual activity was determined to be consensual, police also discovered one person in the vehicle was wanted by Newark municipal court for an outstanding traffic violation.
Emil Attal, 36, of Jersey City, was taken into custody on the outstanding warrant, police said. He was released after posting $125 bail.
