A manager at the Shake-a-Paws puppy store reported the theft of a puppy at about 8 p.m. July 11, police reported.
The manager said two men came into the store inquiring about the purchase of a poodle pup. The manager collected personal information for the sale, and when he went to the back of the store for a moment, the men left with an apricot colored poodle pup.
The managersaid both men were black, about six feet, two inches in height, with average builds. One was as wearing a red baseball cap, multi-colored button-down short sleeve shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers, the other only noted as wearing a pink polo shirt and baseball cap.

The puppy was priced at $1,400, and had been microchipped, which may make its recovery easier.
