Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release that a 23-year-old man from Green Brook was going westbound Monday on I-78 in Lower Saucon Township, Pa., when he lost control of his 2007 Honda Civic on runoff that was collecting on the roadway.

In a news release, police said the motorist was 131 feet north of the Easton Road overpass when the accident occurred.

After the driver lost control, his car "struck the bridge barrier and continued to spin," police said.

The car came to rest in the left travel lane and had to be towed from the scene, police added.

No charges related to Monday's accident are planned, according to the news release.
