Car Reported Stolen After Motel Tryst
Plainfield man says woman took a credit card, also.
A Plainfield resident reported his 2004 Toyota Camry had been stolen Mach 3, Green Brook Police said.
The man came to the police headquarters at 1:44 p.m. March 3 to report the theft, which he said occurred at about 5 a.m. that day, after he spent the night at the Ivory Tower Motor Inn with a woman he'd met the evening before.
According to the report, the man said he "befriended" a woman in Plainfield who went by the names Rebecca or "Cici." They went to the hotel and spent the night, but upon waking, the victim found his car—and a credit card—were gone, along with "Cici."
