Save Green Brook EMS

Green Brook township committee, along with the township administrator, is trying to dissolve the volunteer EMS. Mayor Boccio and the township administrator, Kelly Cupit, advised our EMS Chief that this is strictly for “financial reasons”. The EMS total operating budget is approximately $25,000.00 a year. This small budget will have no effect on the tax payers. However, the township administrator just received a raise to make her annual salary $125,000.00.

                We currently have 27 active EMS members and cover the township during the night and the entire weekend. We also perform rehabilitation on fire scenes, assist with searching for missing people and provide over and above assistance to the township during major disasters while leaving our families and homes unattended. WE also offer CPR and basic first aid classes. You will not receive these services from a contracted paid service. You and your insurance company will be billed any time you need an ambulance which is at least $500.00.

Also please express your support to Mayor Boccio at pboccio@greenbrooktwp.org and Kelly Cupit at kcupit@greenbrooktwp.org. THEY ARE MOVING FORWARD WITH THIS ON MONDAY NIGHT!  We need you to attend the township committee meeting, THIS MONDAY at 7:30PM to voice your concerns and support.
