Kathleen R. Hart, Owned N.J. Fire Equipment Co. in Green Brook, Dies at 90

Hart was was an active parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Church in Dunellen.

Kathleen R. (nee Ford) Hart, 90, died Monday, January 6, 2014 in Metuchen, NJ. She was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, lived in Dunellen for more than 50 years and in Metuchen for the past 4 years. Kathleen was gentle, kind, generous, with a keen wit and playful spirit. She loved her family above all and her friends nearly as much. We return her love and forever will cherish our memories of her. Mrs. Hart was a part-owner of N.J. Fire Equipment Co. in Green Brook, retiring in 1998. She was an active parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Church in Dunellen. Kathleen is predeceased by her husband, Edward, who died in 1990; by brother Charles Ford and sisters Mary Margaret Moyle, Agnes Mulloy, and Sarah Tilleman. She is survived by her brother James Ford and his wife Margaret, daughters Mary Margaret Hart and her partner Carolyn Daniels, Laurie Hart and her husband Leroy Fortcher, and son James Hart; also survived by two grandchildren, Rachel and Sheila.

A Memorial Mass will take place Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 9:00AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, Dunellen. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home, 275 West Milton Avenue, Rahway, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Haven Hospice, JFK Medical Center, 65 James Street, Edison, NJ 08820. www.lehrergibilisco.com
