Annual Millington Holiday Parade, Hosted by The Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce

(Millington, NJ) The Bernards Twp. Regional Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their annual “Millington Holiday Parade” on Thursday, December 13th at 7pm. Something new this year - starting at 6pm, the public is invited to the All Saints' Episcopal Church on Long Hill Road to enjoy carols and such to get parade goers in the Holiday Spirit prior to the Parade start. Rev. Victoria Geer McGrath and the Choir will be on hand to accept any donation of canned goods to help feed the needy as well. Donations are accepted at the door, if your means allow.

The Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce invites boy scouts, girl scouts, clubs and organizations to participate in the parade. To sign up to have your group or business march, call the Chamber at 908-339-5937. The Parade starts at All Saints Church and proceeds down to Millington Savings Bank. From there the parade works its way back to the Millington Fire House for Hot Chocolate, Cookies, Drawings and Santa! There is no cost to attend or participate in the parade. “We are so thrilled to make this an annual event, we do encourage everyone to participate in the parade, or line the route, come meet us at the Fire House and attend the pre-parade caroling at the Church,” states BTCC President Barbara Long. The event is free and open to the public.

Last year, residents lined the street down to the center of Millington to watch the Fire Company, Chamber businesses, youth groups and Santa march by. The Millington Fire House was then filled with families enjoying the post parade festivities.
