Thursday's Watchung Mountain Forecast: Steam

As comedian Will Rogers was known for quipping, "if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute." And while the weather today will be changing, it won't be changing much for the better, according to forecasters.

The high temperature today will be in the low- to mid-90s, but watch for uncomfortable humidity to return—according to Weather.com, the 91-degrees forecast for the high at about 4 p.m. will feel like 97 because of the humidity.

Soon after, about 6 p.m. forecaster say, a serious of thunderstorms may roll through the area, with high winds and possibly hail.

The storms will continue through the night, clearing up in the morning. Friday begins with scattered clouds, temps in the upper-70s....and 90 percent relative humidity.

The on-again, off-again clouds and rain will live up to Rogers' words through Sunday, when skies clear up, and more seasonal weather returns.
