Body ID'd as Missing North Plainfield Man

The body of a 26-year-old missing North Plainfield man was found in Watchung Lake Jan. 4. The cause of Manuel Antonio Guevara's death has not yet been determined. Authorities searched for Guevara throughout the day on Thursday in the area and partially drained the lake.

Watchung Hills' Superintendent to Retire

The Watchung Hills Board of Education accepted a letter of resignation from Superintendent Frances Stromsland Jan. 22, voting after she read an emotional letter expressing her love of the school. Dr. Stromsland will retire at the end of the school year.
