This week's Readers' Choice features places to go for a day without traveling outside Somerset County.

Whether it's relaxing at in Bridgewater, taking in a Independent League baseball game, taking the kids for a learning experience at the Environmental Education Center at Lord Stirling Park in Bernards, visiting the Warren Farm Arboretum or seeing a show at the Somerset Valley Playhouse, tell us which one you prefer.

Wow! These are difficult choices. Just goes to show how many great things there are to do in Somerset County!! My family LOVES the Somerset Valley Players productions. Family friendly, great shows, adorable building and affordable for the whole family! Must See Entertainment! Another must-do family activity is to see The Somerset Patriots play ~ GO PATRIOTS!! Lastly, the beauty of the parks and recreation in Somerset County are breathtaking. GET OUTDOORS and enjoy a bit of "Paradise" (as my dad says :)

There's is no better place to go and get away from it all than SVP! It's affordable for any sized family and unaffected by weather. Love it!
