Harbor Freight Tools Set to Open Green Brook Store June 13

National chain to open just in time for Father's Day.

The new Harbor Freight Tools store on Route 22 in Green Brook is set to open just in time for Father' Day, according to the company. The 26,000-square foot store built at the former Green Brook Saturn auto dealdership lot at 270 Route 22 West in Green Brook will open June 13.

"We're thrilled to open the eleventh Harbor Freight Tools store in the state of New Jersey, and proud to be a member of the Green Brook community,” Eric Smidt, president of Harbor Freight Tools, said. “Our customers can always count on finding the largest selection of quality tools at ridiculously low prices, and know they will always get the best value for their money. In today's cost-conscious times, HarborFreight offers a necessary alternative to other ‘big box’ retailers that offer comparably featured products at inflated big-brand prices.”

Harbor Freight operates more than 380 stores in 45 states, and has been growing in New Jersey in recent months—the company opened a Union store earlier this year, also. Known for its aggressive marketing and discount pricing—"ridiculously low prices," the company says—Harbor Freight has found a strong niche, even during the economic turmoil of the last few years.
