Not even a year after opening its doors with a grand opening party in the Village at Commons, CUPS Frozen Yogurt officially closed its doors Jan. 20.
The shop was all about self-serve frozen yogurt with different flavors and a complete toppings bar.
Tom Beyer, with CUPS, said it was only this location that closed down.
"While it's always a tough business decision to close any location, it is not reflective of the brand, which is growing and prosperous overall," he said.
Beyer declined to say why this location closed down.
There are still many other CUPS locations around the state, including one in East Brunswick.
But this also leaves an empty space in the Village at Commons, near Chipotle and the Starbucks.
So, what do you think should take its place?
And what are your thoughts on the shop closing so soon?
