Dunellen Skylight Theatre Productions, a NJ nonprofit corporation based in Dunellen, is specifically organized to showcase theatrical presentations which align with the standards of its audience and community. The company provides theatrical education to adults and children in the form of musicals, dramas, and comedies, as well as providing a venue for local performers, directors and playwrights to display and cultivate their talents.

The Dunellen Skylight Theatre Productions Board of Directors understands the importance of theater in general, as well as the positive outcomes it has for the communities where it is performed. This is precisely why Dunellen has become home to this new theatre company. It’s rich history and loves for the arts makes this borough the right place Dunellen Skylight’s theatrical performances.

Dunellen Skylight Theatre Productions believe that theater brings cultural arts to communities and allows people the opportunities to come together and share in a social event. It fosters creativity and expression of thoughts, encourages discussions, creates better listening skills, and teaches tolerance and objectivity as well as life skills that can be used in everyday life. Another beneficial outcome of bringing theater into a community is the attraction of audiences and participants who live outside of the community where they are performed who will then become patrons for local businesses and eateries.

Dunellen Skylight Theatre Productions is happy to have the support of the Mayor and Council, as well as the community at large. The group has many exciting plans throughout the year and beyond. These shows will build yet another feature of Dunellen to be proud of.
