'He's Alive' At Warren's Brite Nites

The pumpkin patch with a twist — along with a haunted house — opens for the first of six nights at Wagner Farm in Warren.

Frankenstein and his creator made an appearance at Friday's debut of this year's Brite Nites Halloween show and pumpkin display, to continue this weekend and next at Warren Farm Arboretum in Warren.

Scary characters in the haunted house are portrayed by volunteers.

Brite Nights, a fundraiser for the township-owned arboretum, continues through this weekend and into next Friday through Sunday.

The annual fundraising event at Wagner Farm makes creative use of pumpkins, and also includes refreshments and fun along with scary scenes.

General public dates for the event are from 6:45 to 8 p.m. on Friday through Sunday evenings, Oct. 18, 19, 20 and Oct. 25, 26, 27. To purchase tickets via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), click here, or stop by the Arboretum’s office on Mountain Ave.
