Contemporary Art Group Show Reception

The Watchung Arts Center will present the works of the Contemporary Art Group and solo artist Matthew Allen Wilson from May 1 through May 25.

The Upper Gallery features The Contemporary Art Group’s 2012 Members' Show "Patterns in Nature” and will feature artists from various counties in the North Central Jersey area.  This show promises to be a dynamic exploration of the theme "Patterns in Nature", which artists investigate through a variety of media and styles.  Art on display includes works in acrylic, oils, watercolor, pastel, encaustic, collage, photography and sculpture.

All are invited to a reception on Sunday, May 6 from 1:00 to 4:00.  The event will be highlighted by the artistry of renowned jazz duo Pam Purvis and Bob Ackerman, who perform jazz standards with lushness and flair.
