Bring your personal documents, metal and styrofoam to this special event at the Watchung Borough Police headquarters, hosted by Somerset County Recycling.
Documents and personal papers can be securely disposed off in the massive shredding trucks, operated by bonded and licensed "destruction specialists."
The borough has also arranged for recycling metal and styrofoam at the event—styrofoam can be very difficult to properly dispose of, so take advantage of the event. For informaiton on the acceptable metal for recycling, visit the website for "Mr. Scrap."

The department includes a patrol, criminal investigations, internal affairs, traffic and records/discovery divisions under Chief of Police Timothy Wenzel. The department was founded in 1926, with an all-volunteer force under Chief Richard Bellis.
