Wild Horses on the Run in Watchung
Residents reporting three horses loose on Mountain Boulevard.
Residents are reporting seeing three horses running down Mountain Boulevard at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday—with several Watchung police officers giving chase.
"I just passed them on my way home.," Laurie Mullen Wood posted on the Watchung Neighborhood Network Facebook page. "It was one big horse and two ponies. Craziest thing I have ever seen!"
Jennifer Netta said construction workers on a roadside jobsite were stunned: "You had to see the faces on the road construction workers and the police working the construction as the horses were trotting past them," she posted.

The horses were wrangled before reaching Warren and were seen being escorted back to the farm.
