What's Next for This Route 22 Storefront?

We found an ideal business for another spot in the same building—but what about this space?

There are two store fronts available in the Arthur Plaza on Route 22—where the Bone Fish Grill and Gatsby Salon are. Last week, we asked for your ideas for the smaller spot—this time, it's for a larger space in the center between EmbroidMe and the Exotic Boots and Western Wear shop.

And we got some great recommendations: Melissa Noble suggested a craft store to help moms get supplies for school projects, scrapbooks and just fun summer projects. Such a store would add a great dimension to Green Brook's shopping.

Reader Rita deRosset noted the first location was probably too small, but she thought a Trader Joe's would be great in Green Brook—and just maybe it would fit here. Trader Joe's clientele would fit perfectly in the center's upscale shops, and would be a great addition to Green Brook...well, all of Somerset County!

What do you think would be great? A sporting goods store? Are there any services missing in our area?

Add your suggestions below—or vote for one already made!

Not sure if the location is too small, but love the idea of a Trader Joe's in Green Brook! I would shop in one quite often. Here is a link to the only stores that are close to us. http://www.traderjoes.com/stores/index.asp
