Kitchen Fire Extinguished on Mountain Blvd.
Borough volunteers quickly place blaze under control.
Borough volunteers responded to a kitchen fire at 199 Mountain Blvd. at about 3:40 p.m.
The fire was quickly extinguished, with damage limited to the kitchen of the house. Fire Chief Thomas Carluci said no injures were reported in the incident.
The Watchung Rescue Squad also responded to the fire scene, with borough police controlling traffic on Mountain Boulevard.
