Traffic Delays Expected During Mountain Blvd. Project
Widening and straightening of roadway will last through at least November, police said.
Work to replace an aging water main caused traffic problems on Watchung's Mountain Boulevard. The roadway is also slated for a widening and repaving project that will cause further problems for drivers.

A major road repair project will interrupt traffic daily on Mountain Boulevard through November, Watchung Police said.
The widening and straightening of Mountain Boulevard will cause traffic interruptions Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., police said.
The project wil repave, widen and take some of the curve out of the road between the Warren Township border and Anderson Road.
Traffic will be impacted through at least November, police said. Drivers are advised to slow down in this area and to expect some delays, police said.
Traffic has been compounded on Mountain Boulevard by the ongoing water main replacement project on the road's south side.
