Take Time Friday to Visit a Park
Share your memories or photos of your favorite state or national park.
The National Recreation and Park Association is encouraging people across the country to go outside and enjoy a park tomorrow.
The group declared Friday "National Visit a Park Day," in an effort to increase public enjoyment of parklands.
"The public is encouraged to set aside unnecessary obligations on Oct. 5 and take time to visit a local, state, regional, or national park and enjoy the many benefits of these locations," the NRPA said.
You can get out and visit Green Brook's Washington Rock Park, or the popular Watchung Lake, but perhaps there's another park that's your favorite and you can't get to it Friday—send us a photo of your favorite park and tell us what you love about it.
