POLL: How Well Do You Know Tom DiGanci? Part 3

Yesterday we asked what he would have been if not an educator—do you know?

As Watchung Hills Regional students enjoy their last week under Principal Thomas DiGanci, who retires June 30, we thought we'd offer a different kind of final exam: how well do you think you know "Dr. Tom?"

We asked Dr. DiGanci five questions, and will feature one Q&A each day this week—see how many you can get right.

Yesterday, we asked Dr. DiGanci what he would have done if he hadn't become an educator—and about half knew: he would have been the New York Yankees' star centerfielder, before becoming a game announcer on the YES Network (and if you've been sent to the principal's office, you knew...).

Today's question is: What would parents be most surprised to know about being a high school principal in 2012? Take our poll below and see how well you know Dr. DiGanci.

I've arrived at school at 5:30 a.m. for the annual teacher's appreciation breakfast, and Dr. DiGanci was already there and opeend the door for me. I've been at all day fundraisers in the hot sun, and he was there from start to finish. Often evening programs end after 10 p.m. and he's there. The logical explanation for how he can do this involves cloning, but the actual answer is that he's an incredibly committed, energetic person, 100% devoted to Watchung Hills!
