A man stabbed at the Ivory Tower Motor Inn in early morning hours Saturday started the week on Watchung-Green Brook Patch. Police said the incident occurred after two men argued in the motel's parking lot.

Events in Green Brook and Watchung Tuesday focused on remembering the local lives lost in the terrorist attacks 11 years ago. Green Brook's moving candlelight ceremony was a solemn and quiet event at the township's memorial park.

Max Meyers' Singlet Returns from Olympics

U.S. Men's wrestling team chiropractor Fred Rossi, of Basking Ridge, had several members of the team sign a wrestling singlet belonging to Watchung Hills REgional wrestler Max Meyer. Max joined Dr. Rossi at an recent event to show the now-framed singlet.  

Could This be Green Brook's Grocery Store?

Green Brook residents want a grocery store—an 11,000 square foot space looks like it could work for a boutique type of grocer, say, a Trader Joe's—but the company won't say whether it's a possibility or not. 

$7,800 Engagement Ring Swiped From Jeweler 

After visiting to "case" the store—or shop for a ring—the man returned and snatched it when employees took it out of the display case. The vulgar thief then ran around the building, getting away with the ring.
