Green Brook police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the parking lot at the Ivory Tower Motor Inn early Saturday, after two men became embroiled in an argument.

The incident ocurred at about 2:55 a.m., when an unidentified man was stabbed in the back. He was taken to Somerset Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Green Brook police have identified several witnesses, and detectives are conducting interviews this week as the investigation continues, police said.
