House Fire Causes No Injuries in Watchung
Skyline Drive residence was unoccupied when fire broke out Sunday afternoon.
No injuries were reported when a fire broke out in an unoccupied home on Skyline Drive in Watchung Sunday afternoon, according to police officials.
The Watchung Fire Department responded to the home at 12:06 p.m. and quickly extinguished the blaze, which appears to have started in the kitchen, Watchung Police Sgt. Scott Anderle said.
Anderle said the small house sits on the corner of a quiet side street in the borough.
The Watchung Rescue Squad also responded to the scene.
