Christopher McCabe, 23, of Fanwood, was charged with DWI at 12:14 a.m. June 26, after Watchung police stoppped the vehicle he was driving on Route 22, near Mountain Avenue. 

Police had observed McCabe's vehicle make an improper turn, and was stopped when police suspected he may be driving drunk. He was taken into custody after failing field sobriety tests, and was taken to Warren Police headquarters for testing.

He was also charged with careless driving and making an improper turn, before being released to a friend.
