CPA Group Awards Scholarships to Four at Watchung Hills
Awards announced at the National Society of Public Accountants' spring meeting.
Five graduating seniors of Watchung Hills Regional High School were the recipients of $30,000 in scholarship funds for their excellence in accounting. Four Watchung Hills Regional High School seniors received scholarships totaling $30,000 from the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, the local chapter of the National Society of Public Accountants, at the organization’s spring meeting.
The recipients, students of Robin Simonetta and Dianne Krutz, have all studied accounting for two or more years at Watchung Hills and plan to continue their studies in that subject on the college level.
The award winners are: Alyssa Blochlinger, who will attend the College of New Jersey; Greg Stone, Elon College; Gerald Tigol, New York University, and Derek Weisman, the University of Wisconsin.
