Cops: Thieves Took the Bait...and Tackle
New Providence resident reports fishing equipment stolen near Watchung Lake, police said.
A New Providence resident reported the theft of fishing equipment, taken shortly before 2:30 p.m. July 28, Watchung Police said.
According to the police report, the equipment—valued at $100—was taken as the man was fishing on the north side of Watchung Lake.
