Basketball Camps Coming Soon to a School Near You
Watchung Hills Regional coaches taking clinics to Green Brook, Watchung.
Watchung Hills Regional varsity basketball coaches Justin Salton and Sandy Whelan will be showing tomorrow's clutch players the tips and tricks needed to improve their games in the coming weeks, at their Hoops Camp at Watchung Hills.
The annual program for basketball players of all ages—and all skill levels—tips off June 25, and features a regular daily camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Watchung Hills Regional, and intensive camps for younger, less experienced players at Valley View School in Watchung and Green Brook Middle School.
The schedule is:
- June 25—June 29: Girls week 1
- July 9—July 13: Boys week 1
- July 16—July 20: Boys week 2
- July 23—July 27: Girls week 2
The camp's specialty weeks include morning sessions from 9-11:30 a.m., and afternoon sessions from 12:30-3 p.m. Campers attending specialty week camps at Green Brook will receive officila camp basketballs.
- June 25—June 28: Boys Fundamental Specialty Week (at Green Brook Middle School).
- July 9—July 12: Girls Fundamental Specialty Week (at Valley View Middle School).
- July 30—Aug. 2: Coed Shooting Camp (Green Brook Middle School)
- Session: 9-11 a.m. only.
The camps are designed to help our community children learn the fundamental skills of the game through drills, contests, and games taught by the Watchung Hills coaching staff, current and former players, teachers, and other area coaches.
In addition, sportsmanship and teamwork are emphasized with a concentration on having fun for children of all ages and levels of play.

This is a great camp if your kids are interested in learning the sport and having fun. My daughter loved it last year!
